Mr. Cama is a recruitment associate. He shares his experience in selecting and interviewing the candidates amid Corona Virus pandemic. As a recruitment associate he is responsible for the recruitment screening process. It was modified to conveniently source and hire candidates by scheduling a phone interview for initial screening. For higher levels of interview, videocall by using internal videocall software are being facilitated by the recruiter. The passion and compassion that he has was pushed him to help those people who are looking and in need of a job. He’s so happy to share his unforgettable experiences being a talent acquisition leader. He was able to offer a job for a fresh graduate candidate. He shares how he saw the genuine reaction of the candidates the moment he informed them about passing the whole screening process. “It was priceless”, he added. For Mr. Cama, being able to successfully hire a candidate is what he loves about his job. He’s able to give the candidates a job and an opportunity to be part of the company.
In these trying times, it is not easy for an HR to find a suitable person for the vacant positions they were offering especially that we face a lot of problems amid pandemic. Mr. Cama believes that HR jobs are beyond works and managing the organization but it is the fulfillment in providing services to the employees of the company. He want to leave an advice to those aspiring HR, “Discover the real purpose of Human Resource and you will not be motivated by the salary anymore” he said.
